 Eagle Scout Vanity License Plates
Eagle Scout vanity license plates are now available in Illinois! Boy Scout plates bearing the Eagle Scout badge can be issued to applicants who can provide written proof of Eagle rank in the form of appropriate documentation from the National Boy Scout Council or a copy of the Eagle Scout Certificate. By purchasing the Eagle Scout license plates, you also contribute to the Boy Scout and Girl Scout Fund. All moneys in the Boy Scout and Girl Scout Fund shall be paid in grants to be divided between the divisions of the Boy Scouts of America and the Girl Scouts of the U.S.A. on a pro rata basis. 2009 Eagle Scout Recognition Banquet

Close to 300 young men in the Three Fires Council will received their Eagle Award in 2009. To honor their achievement, the Eagle Banquet Committee has scheduled the 2009 Gathering of Eagles Recognition Banquet for Friday, February 19, 2010 at the Wyndham Hotel in Lisle, IL. A general reception and fellowship will begin at 6:30 pm. Dinner will be served at 7:00 pm. followed by our program. This will be a very special evening for the 2009 class, Eagle Alumni, sponsors and guests. It is our hope that you will help make this a memorable event by sponsoring one or more Eagles from the Eagle Scout Class of 2009, as well as attend this gala event.

The Community Foundation of the Fox River Valley will offer a scholarship program to Eagle Scouts who are graduates of a high school located within their service area. This includes the Greater Aurora Area, the Tri Cities & Kendall County. Eligibility is restricted to students who are currently enrolled in a 4 year college & who will attain Junior or Senior status in the 2010-2011 academic year.
