Day #1 of the Three Fires Wood Badge Course # C-26-09. Participants arrive, woggles are tied, presentations are made, dens are crossed over into patrols, & we have a Wood Badge FEAST!
On a very hot Sunday in August, Wood Badge course C-26-09 began with an orientation meeting to allow the participants a chance to meet each other & the staff, as well as get the useful information they will need to begin the course later in the month. Staff held their shakedown weekend on April 25-27, 09 at Camp Big Timber in Elgin. View photos of their work & fun. Dinner on Saturday night was a feist that was shared with the National Youth Leadership Training Staff!

Wood Badge Course C-24-07 began it's first weekend with high winds, torrential rain, & flooding. Despite the inclement weather the participants showed their enthusiastic spirit, good cheer & flexibility as they came together to form their troop & patrols. View photos of the weekend here.
Wood Badge Course C-24-07 held it's second weekend with blue skies, perfect temperatures, & high spirits. This weekend the participants camped and dined in their "remote" campsites while working together on their patrol and conservation projects. View photos of their weekend here.
