The Orion Project 2021
Keep on target for Adventure in 2021 with The Orion Project at the Summit Bechtel Reserve
The Summit Bechtel Reserve is throwing open its gates to any Scout who wants to experience everything the Summit has to offer from July 18 to 24. We have combined all our best programs into one adventure called the Orion Project for the 2021 season only.
The 2021 Jamboree has been postponed until 2022. More details from national will be be coming out in the next fee months. In order to properly plan for a great Three Fires Council Jamboree contingent we have re-opened registration. A $250 deposit is required when you register to hold your spot, however, there will not be any further payment until more details are provided.
Order of the Arrow
For more than 100 years, the Order of the Arrow has recognized Scouts and Scouters who best exemplify the Scout Oath and Law in their daily lives. This recognition provides encouragement for others to live these ideals as well. Arrowmen are known for maintaining camping traditions and spirit, promoting year-round and long term resident camping, and providing cheerful service to others. Three Fires Council is the proud home of Lowaneu Allanque Lodge 41.
Science Technology Engineering and Math (STEM)
STEM is part of an initiative the Boy Scouts of America has taken on to encourage the natural curiosity of youth members and their sense of wonder about these fields through existing programs. From archery to welding, Scouts can't help but enjoy the wide range of STEM-related activities. To support this initiative, the BSA developed the Nova Awards Program so that youth members have fun and receive recognition for their efforts. The Three Fires Council Special Needs Committee aspires to offer the nation's foremost Scouting Program for individuals with special needs try raising awareness in our Scouting Units of the need for inclusiveness of individuals with special needs. Our Mission is to provide individuals with special needs opportunities to participate to the best of their abilities in an all-inclusive Scouting Program offered by the Boy Scouts of America.
