Board Of Directors

Officers and members of the Three Fires Council Board of Directors are registered volunteers of the BSA, elected to a one-year term by the voting members of the Council.  Board members are recruited to serve based on their ability and willingness to support the mission of the Council. The Council’s Nominating Committee seeks a diverse body of volunteers to serve on the board, so that our board reflects the community we serve. Board members have specific and fiduciary responsibilities for the governance and the overall health of the Council and as such actively serve on Council standing committees and contribute significant time, financial resources and influence to ensure the Council’s success.   The Nominating Chairman is appointed by the board at the December board meeting, recruits a committee of board and non-board members to assist in the nomination process and submits a nomination report at the April Business meeting for consideration by the voting members of the board.
