Our Facilities

Here in Three Fires Council we take the ‘outing’ in Scouting seriously. There’s something for our Scouts and Venturers to do at every program level. Whether it's a weekend getaway for your Cub Scout Den, an action-packed Webelos resident camp or you're planning this year's summer camp excursion for your Troop or Crew. We've got the swimming, paddling, sailing and fishing adventures you're looking for. We've got high adventure challenges like whitewater, climbing and even all-terrain vehicles in our lineup too. Pick your adventure and let’s get out there!

Camp Freeland Leslie

Camp Freeland Leslie was established in 1972 and sits on over 450 wooded acres near Oxford, Wisconsin. Just three hours north of Chicago and the western suburbs, CFL is the premier patrol-method and patrol-camping Scouting property in the Midwest. Open year-round, CFL hosts thousands of Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts and Venturers each year. CFL runs one of the largest resident Webelos camps in the Midwest and can accommodate youth groups of all sizes. Choose from our extensive merit badge catalog, take your patrol-level cooking to the next level, take aim at our archery, shotgun and sporting clays ranges. Non-Scouting groups are welcome to reserve our facilities, too! Visit CFL's website for more information on all the fun happenings at CFL.

Camp Big Timber

Camp Big Timber sits on a 70-acre parcel in the heart of Elgin, Illinois. Established in 1926, CBT is a close-in,  family, Cub Scout and Webelos program and camping destination. Reserve any of our 9 campsites through our online registration system. Camp year-round in one of our cabins, plan a group campfire for up to 200 in our huge outdoor amphitheater. Test your skill on our archery and BB gun ranges. Book one of our tree houses for a truly different camping experience. CBT even boasts a full commercial kitchen - perfect for large groups. CBT also serves as our Council Training Center for a wide variety of adult leader training courses including Woodbadge, Outdoor Leader Skills and more. Visit our TFC Calendar to learn more about events and activities at Camp Big Timber.

CBT is undergoing an exciting transformation in 2017. We're upgrading our facilities, improving our campsites, adding new equipment to our dining hall and more! Stay up to date on all the great stuff going on at CBT via our Facebook page.
