Launching New Leaders Every Day

You’re picturing campfires and marshmallows, sing-alongs and merit badges, and you’re right. But the Scouts are so much more than that.

Scouts don’t follow, they surpass!

The next great thinkers, leaders, and scientists come from Scouts. Joining our adventures means learning how to turn little ideas into big ones; innovating old ideas for new ones; taking something good and making it great.

And the entire family can be a part of it. Don’t leave your little brother or sister behind, bring them with! There are countless opportunities to bring your family together. Unplug from the world around you and learn how to use the tools you were born with—your brain, your muscles, your family. Learn, grow, and succeed as one.

The future is now. The Scouts aren’t just building leaders for today, they’re building leaders for generations to come. Be a part of it.

Why Families?

The BSA welcomes male and female Scouts to participate in our program.

There is fun for all ages whether you're a youth enrolled in Scouting or a parent volunteering with a pack or troop. Scouting is a family friendly program that provides opportunities for youth age 5-20 and invites parents or legal guardians to join in on the fun.

From campouts, game nights, pinewood derbies, cookouts and more, there is something for everyone. Want to get involved? Become a pack or troop leader. Not ready to become a leader? Help your child's pack or troop with upcoming events. Maybe you even just go hiking or fishing with your child and talk about what they've learned. There are lots of ways to get involved and enjoy the family bonding that comes with Scouting. Find what's best for you.

We believe that it all starts with family. Strong families create strong people. Enjoy the journey together. Enjoy the quality time. Enjoy Scouting.
